La Route de la Corniche (D513): A balcony over the estuary
The car journey is in itself an attraction. The departmental road D513, nicknamed the ‘Route de la Corniche’ on this section, winds and undulates along the coastline. Leaving Honfleur, the road rises and quickly offers magnificent visual escapes over the estuary of the Seine, the Pont de Normandie and the port of Le Havre in the distance.
Changing panoramas: The road, sometimes lined with sumptuous houses and Norman mansions, plunges the visitor into a chic and bucolic atmosphere. Each turn reveals a new point of view on the sea or on the green countryside of the Pays d’Auge.
